1. Introduction

At Kurd Apps we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This guide explains the options available for deleting your data and account from our mobile application Kurd Apps / کورد ئەپس (the "App").

2. Types of data we store

Depending on how you use the App, we may store the following types of data:

  • Account information: email address and authentication details (if you create an account).
  • Translation history: text you have translated and the translation results.
  • KurdGPT conversations: your chat history with KurdGPT and research reports.
  • Generated images: images created through our text-to-image feature.
  • User preferences: app settings and customizations.

3. Self-service data deletion

You can delete most of your data directly within the App without contacting us.

How to delete your data

  1. Open the Kurd Apps application on your device.
  2. Navigate to the Profile tab in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. In your profile, you will see options to view and manage your data.
  4. Choose to delete specific items (translations, chats, images) or all your data at once.

When you delete data through the profile page, it is permanently removed from our active systems and cannot be recovered.

4. Account deletion

If you wish to completely delete your account and all associated data, contact us at sales@trisof.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

The account deletion process

  1. Send an email from the address associated with your account.
  2. Include your full name and the email address used for your account.
  3. We will confirm receipt of your request.
  4. Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 72 hours.
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Once your account is deleted, all your personal data, translations, chats, generated images, and preferences will be permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.

5. Data retention after deletion

When you delete your data or account:

  • Your data is immediately marked for deletion.
  • Data is permanently deleted from our active systems within 72 hours.
  • Backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 days.
  • Anonymized aggregate statistics (without any personal identifiers) may be retained.

We may retain certain information if required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or to prevent fraud or future abuse. All retained information will remain subject to our privacy policy.
